Mr. Buhere, the patron of drama at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC), served not just as her instructor but also as a significant influence in honing her artistic talents. A memorable moment arose during a cultural dance showcase by the Power House, a troupe guided by this dedicated lecturer.
“He ejected me from the cultural dance troupe because I did not know how to dance Luyhia songs and moved me to theatre where I played as the wife to Abel Mutua,” she recalled.

After her graduation, their paths diverged till fate intervened, bringing them together again, this time as peers sharing the stage.

“Sisters, how you carry yourself in your studies and how you relate with your teachers will determine how you sit with them when you meet them later on in life,” she advised.
