Vinicius Junior was named Champions League Player of the Season by UEFA after leading Real Madrid to their record-extending 15th European title.

The Brazilian forward scored six goals and provided five assists during Real’s victorious campaign, including a crucial goal in their 2-0 final win against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

“I’m very happy to be able to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much,” said the 23-year-old Vinicius.

Teammate Jude Bellingham was honored with the Champions League Young Player of the Season award. The 20-year-old English midfielder dazzled in his first season with Real Madrid, contributing four goals and five assists. He expressed his elation, saying, “I can’t put it into words. It’s the best night of my life. It’s got to be up there in terms of the perfect season.”

Both players were pivotal in Real Madrid’s successful campaign, which also saw them clinch the Spanish league title.
