Three people, Florence Muiruri, Moses Odhiambo, and Daniel Ngugi, appeared in Nairobi’s Milimani Court on Tuesday. They are accused of stealing 1,511 bags of condemned milk from Sambot Ship’s Contractors in Mombasa on May 3rd, 2023.
The charges also include interfering with goods under customs control. The confiscated milk was slated for destruction and therefore subject to customs oversight.
They pleaded not guilty to all charges before Magistrate Victor Wakhumile and were released on a bond of Ksh. 200,000 with an alternative cash bail option of Ksh. 100,000.
The case will be mentioned on July 15th.
