The name of Brad Pitt’s highly anticipated Formula One movie has been revealed. The film, set to release in cinemas next June, will be titled “F1.” Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for the box office hit “Top Gun: Maverick,” and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the movie is being created in collaboration with Formula One teams and drivers.
“F1” is scheduled to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in cinemas and IMAX. An official teaser for the film is set to be released on Sunday, just ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where some of the filming has taken place.
In the movie, Brad Pitt stars as a former driver making a dramatic comeback to Formula One, alongside Damson Idris, who plays his rookie teammate at the fictional APXGP team. To prepare for the role, Pitt has been filming at various racetracks around the world, including in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is involved as a co-producer, offering his expertise and advice.
